"Adorable pets that have been overlooked".
In an effort to find each pet a loving forever home that has been in our shelter for
more than a year, Priest River Animal Rescue is offering half off adoption fees.
These great pets are still at our rescue because it is hard when you are a black
labrador mix and the yellow lab always gets picked first. We have sixty cats
at the rescue, so the competition is fierce to be chosen for adoption.
Please give these great pets your consideration.

Oliver came to PRAR from sad circumstances and is very happy to have been rescued. A very affectionate
Heeler mix with beautiful tri-color markings and a scattering of black flecks. Oliver loves everyone
he meets and always has a smile on his face. Playful with other dogs and walks nicely on a leash. Has
become one of the Dog Walker's favorite for taking for a walk. Very intelligent and easily trained.
Oliver has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations and rabies.

Melvin
Melvin has been in our shelter since March 2009. He is a beautiful, solid white, long-haired cat. Melvin likes to be held when he comes to you, but is uncomfortable being picked-up. He is a quiet, calm cat that is in our adult cat room and is used to many other cats. Unfortunavely, Melvin has a chronic weepy eye that causes him no pain, but would need to have his faced cleaned periocically. Melvin was rescued with his daughter, Little Princess, and she has found a loving, forever home - leaving Melvin behind. Melvin is a mature cat that was born January 2008, therefore he would prefer a quiet homelife. Melvin has one blue eye and one gold eye, which makes him a real eye-catcher.
